Claudia A. Hernandez has filed a lawsuit against her former employer, Guidehouse Managed Services, LLC, alleging a series of labor violations under the Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) in California. The complaint was filed on May 1, 2025, in the Superior Court of California for the County of Ventura. Hernandez claims that Guidehouse Managed Services failed to adhere to several state labor laws regarding wage payments and employee rights.

According to the lawsuit, Claudia A. Hernandez worked for Guidehouse Managed Services from January 2016 until July 2024 as a patient access lead in Ventura County. During her employment, she alleges that the company engaged in multiple illegal practices including failing to pay minimum and overtime wages, not providing proper meal and rest periods, and not maintaining accurate records of hours worked. Furthermore, she accuses Guidehouse of not reimbursing necessary business expenses such as personal cell phone use for work purposes. The complaint highlights that these practices were part of a systematic policy by Guidehouse affecting all employees similarly situated.

Hernandez's complaint is based on alleged violations of various sections of the California Labor Code. For instance, she cites Section 510 regarding overtime pay requirements and Section 226 which mandates accurate wage statements be provided to employees. She argues that Guidehouse's actions were willful and deliberate, violating laws designed to protect workers' rights in California. "Defendants maintained a systematic company-wide policy," Hernandez states in her filing, "of failing to pay employees for all hours worked."

The plaintiff seeks civil penalties under PAGA on behalf of herself and other aggrieved employees who suffered similar violations during their employment with Guidehouse Managed Services. These penalties are intended to enforce compliance with labor laws by imposing financial consequences on employers who violate them. Additionally, Hernandez requests injunctive relief to prevent further violations by the defendant and seeks compensation for attorney’s fees incurred during this legal process.

Representing Claudia A. Hernandez are attorneys Kane Moon, Allen Feghali, S. Phillip Song, and Stanley J. Park from Moon Law Group PC based in Los Angeles. The case is presided over by Judge Natalie Rosete under Case No.: 2O2ZSCUMEO43357.
