The Superior Court of California, County of Ventura, is currently hearing a case filed by plaintiff Linda Wollin Cohen against Farfalla Trattoria, Inc. and other unidentified defendants (DOES 1-100). The lawsuit, case number 2023CUPPO12997, was filed on August 17, 2025 and alleges premises liability due to negligence. The plaintiff is represented by Alan A. Ahdoot, Christopher B. Adamson, and Katrina R. Eiden from Adamson Ahdoot LLP.

According to the court documents, Cohen suffered severe personal injuries from a slip and fall incident that occurred on November 20, 2021 at Farfalla Trattoria restaurant in Westlake Village. She alleges that the defendants owned, maintained, controlled, possessed, managed or operated the premises where the incident took place. The plaintiff's legal team contends that there were no proper safeguards or blockades in place at the time of the accident.

The complaint further states that the defendants' negligence led to a dangerous condition on their property which caused Cohen's injuries. She claims that her injuries are severe and debilitating. Cohen is seeking damages above $25,000 for her suffering and loss.
