Rafael Rosado Jr. sues Joann Trupiano for elder abuse and neglect

In the Superior Court of the State of California for the County of Ventura, a lawsuit has been filed by plaintiffs Rafael Rosado Jr. and Frank Rosado against defendants Joann Trupiano dba Angels II, Joann Trupiano individually, and Does 1 through 75. Defendant Joann Trupiano is listed as the licensee of Angels II, a residential care facility for the elderly located at 2375 McDonald Court in Simi Valley. The plaintiffs claim that Trupiano is also being sued for acts and omissions occurring in her capacity as owner and administrator of Angels II during the relevant time period.

The plaintiffs are seeking damages on grounds of elder abuse and neglect pursuant to the Elder Adult and Dependent Adult Civil Protection Act - Welfare and Institution Code §§ 15600 et seq., willful misconduct, wrongful death, and negligence. They demand a jury trial for their case.
