Greenberg Traurig Elevates 3 Los Angeles Office Attorneys

Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP elevated three attorneys to shareholder in its Los Angeles office: Ann Brigid Clark, Blakeley S. Oranburg, and Ruben Sislyan.

Firmwide, Greenberg Traurig reported more than $2.17 billion of revenue for FY 2022, an 8.6% increase over the year prior and the ninth consecutive year of record revenue. The firm also announced the elevation of 80 attorneys to shareholder and of counsel.

“These elevations, along with strategic hires we have made recently, position us for a positive future,” said Gregory A. Fishman and Barbara A. Jones, co-managing shareholders of the firm’s Los Angeles office. “We know this group of talented attorneys will continue to demonstrate their commitment to the values important to Greenberg Traurig, especially client service, diversity efforts, and community impact.”

  • Clark is a member of the Entertainment & Media Practice. She focuses her practice on transactional entertainment, media, and intellectual property matters. Clark brings a unique and comprehensive perspective to her practice, having begun her career as an entertainment litigator, and, later, as production counsel for motion picture studios. She often acts in the capacity of an outside business affairs advisor for her clients.
  • Oranburg is a member of the Litigation Practice. She works on commercial litigation matters, with a particular focus on financial services and real estate litigation, complex business disputes, and trust and estate litigation. Oranburg also has experience in class action defense and has represented clients in litigation in state and federal courts, as well as in appellate matters before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
  • Sislyan is a member of the Tax Practice. He focuses on California state and local tax controversies at the audit, administrative, and judicial levels, helping clients navigate through all stages of the Golden State’s complex tax controversy process. He has broad experience representing Fortune 500 and middle-market companies, closely held businesses, startups, families, and individuals in a wide range of state and local tax matters, including corporate franchise/income, personal income, sales and use, property, and other state and local taxes.
