FRESNO -- A claims that he suffered elder abuse while under medical care.

Raymond Guyton filed a complaint on June 18 in the Superior Court of California County of Fresno against Dycora Transitional Health-Quail Lake LLC, Cass Enterprises LLC, Dycora Transitional Health-Tenacity LLC, Julianna Williams and Does 1-100 for elder abuse and negligent hiring and supervision.

According to the complaint, Quail Lake was a business providing long-term custodial care with a 24-hour nursing staff. Guyton alleges that from November 2019 until May 15, 2021, multiple staff members were unfit to perform their work duties which resulted in elder abuse.

Incidents included severe stage IC pressure sores, accelerated deterioration of health along with loss of dignity, shame, humiliation, unnecessary pain and suffering, degradation, anguish and trauma.

Guyton seeks general damages, special damages, punitive and exemplary damages, attorney's fees and cost of suit. Guyton is represented by Mick Arias of Arias Sanguinetti Wang and Torrijos LLP.
