Variety has named Fox Rothschild’s Darrell D. Miller this year’s Power of Law honoree, a testament to his career accomplishments and dedication to service.
Oscar-winning actress, producer and activist Angela Bassett, a longtime client of Miller’s, presented him with the prestigious award.
Founding Chair of the firm’s nationwide Entertainment & Sports Law Department and Managing Partner of the firm’s Los Angeles office, Miller has been a trusted adviser behind the growth of many celebrity brands for more than two decades. He is known in the industry for negotiating trailblazing deals that provide clients leverage to create sustainable careers and capitalize on progressive business opportunities.
He represents esteemed Hollywood talent, including Angela Bassett, Courtney B. Vance, Oscar-winner Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Taylor Tomlinson and Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, among others.
Mark Morris, Chair of the Firm, told Variety that “it was clear that [Miller] had a plan for becoming a well-known attorney throughout the entertainment industry” when Miller joined the firm in 2009.
“Because of his reputation in the industry, he was able to help us build a pretty formidable entertainment practice that now spans several offices around the country,” added Mark Silow, Fox’s Chair Emeritus.
