The 2024 elections could result in significant workplace-related changes. Faegre Drinker labor and employment attorneys Dan Prokott and Kristin Halsing will discuss the likely impact of the presidential and congressional elections, as well as significant state-level elections, on labor and employment laws and regulations. Topics will include:

  • The possibility of expanded employee protections, including higher minimum wages and expanded paid or unpaid family and medical leave.
  • The likely impact on federal regulatory initiatives, including worker misclassification efforts led by the Department of Labor, and either the continuation or pull-back of pro-labor initiatives led by the National Labor Relations Board under the Biden administration.
  • The potential impact on diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives for government and private employers.
  • Whether the use of AI in the workplace will become more regulated.
Please join us for what will be an informative presentation just one week after election night!
