The lawsuit alleges negligence on the part of Vons for failing to maintain safe conditions at their store located at 5688 Telephone Road, Ventura, CA.
The plaintiff's attorney, Craig M. Murphy of Murphy & Murphy Law Offices, asserts that on August 26, 2021, Sanchez slipped and fell due to a liquid spill near the cash registers at the Vons store. The complaint details that Vons failed to clean up the spill or provide any warnings about it. As a result of this incident, Sanchez sustained severe injuries which may be permanent and disabling.
Sanchez is seeking general and special damages for her injuries, future medical expenses including potential surgery costs, compensation for pain and suffering, mental distress, loss of earnings both past and future, pre- and post-judgment interest as allowed by law, and reasonable costs of suit.
