In the Superior Court of California, County of Ventura, plaintiffs Courtney Lynn Clark and Judith Ann Hobart have filed a lawsuit against defendants Joanna Esther Elliot and Joseph Elliot. On October 19th, 2021 at approximately 8:40 p.m. plaintiff Courtney was driving her 2019 Jeep Cherokee southbound on Victoria Avenue. At the same time and place the defendants, residents of Beverly Hills, were driving their 2008 Acura TSX in a negligent and reckless manor. The allegations include speeding, failing to stop for traffic and avoiding a collision with the plaintiffs vehicle resulting in serious injuries to both plaintiffs.
The plaintiffs seek damages for negligence relating to the operation of a motor vehicle, general negligence, and negligent entrustment. They allege that these actions caused injuries and damages for which they now seek compensation.
