In the Superior Court of California, County of Ventura, a class-action lawsuit has been filed by plaintiff Rodrigo Galvan Flores against State Ready Mix, Inc., a California corporation, and Does 1 through 50. The case ID is 2023CUOEO1] 2095 and was filed on July 27, 2023.

Represented by David Yeremian & Associates, Inc., Flores alleges that the defendants violated various provisions of the California Labor Code and relevant orders of the Industrial Welfare Commission (IWC). He claims that he and other non-exempt hourly employees were required to work off the clock without accurate time records or appropriate pay rates. The defendants also allegedly failed to provide lawful meal and rest periods.

The plaintiff further asserts that upon termination or resignation, all due wages were not paid. Moreover, inaccurate wage statements were provided which prevented them from learning about these unlawful pay practices. The lawsuit also includes allegations related to violations of the Business & Professions Code.

Flores seeks redress for these alleged violations on behalf of himself and other similarly situated employees. He demands a jury trial for this class-action complaint.
