Wayne Stevenson Joins Tressler’s General Defense Litigation Practice Group

Tressler is pleased to welcome Wayne Stevenson as an associate in our General Defense Litigation Practice Group. Wayne serves his clients in a diverse array of industries including insurance, business, transportation, aviation, agriculture and government. Wayne is focused on establishing Tressler’s regional presence in Central and Northern California and concentrates his practice on civil litigation matters, including insurance defense and coverage and other tort matters.

“I am excited to continue my journey with Tressler as an attorney," said Wayne Stevenson. "I have grown and learned a great deal from Tressler’s team of experienced and dedicated professionals as a law clerk and I am pleased and encouraged at the opportunity to do the same and more in my new role.” 

During the first year of his legal studies, Wayne worked as a law clerk for an insurer-side worker’s compensation firm assisting with Worker’s Compensation Appeals Board matters before choosing to join the Tressler team in his second year of law school. Wayne was a Loyola Business Law Fellow and a member of the Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Start-Ups Club. He also was both a member and a 2L representative for the Loyola Business Law Society and a Trial Coordinator for the Young Lawyer’s Program.Prior to law school, Wayne worked at a Fortune 500 transportation company as a Field Safety Specialist, internally assuring compliance with state and federal transportation regulations. Additionally, Wayne has over a decade of hands-on experience in the agriculture industry, having worked as a ranch hand and in various other capacities for his family’s multi-generational cattle ranch in Montana.

Wayne received his B.A. from the University of Montana and received his J.D. with dual concentrations in civil litigation and corporate law from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles.
