Linda Michaelson, leader of Sheppard Mullin’s Corporate and Securities practice group, has been selected for inclusion in Variety’s 2022 Women’s Impact Report. The prestigious award salutes women who are making impactful changes to the entertainment industry with grace, dignity and status.
Among Michaelson’s many achievements, Variety highlights leading a team that represented Sony Pictures Television in its acquisition of a controlling interest in nonfiction TV production powerhouse Industrial Media and leading Lionsgate through in its July 2021 acquisition of the vast majority of Spyglass Media Group’s feature film library.
Reflecting on her work, Michaelson comments, “As a corporate M&A lawyer, the best part of the job is leading a deal team of specialists within my firm and being a key member of my clients’ teams as well.
