Holland & Knight Continues Expansion of Healthcare Practice with Addition of Kenneth Yood in California

After adding 20 healthcare industry partners in 2021, Holland &  Knight has now hired healthcare regulatory Partner Kenneth Yood in Los  Angeles. Mr. Yood was formerly a partner with Sheppard Mullin.

Mr.  Yood represents a wide range of healthcare providers and healthcare  companies, including specialty and general acute hospitals (including  local district, nonprofit and for-profit facilities), home health  agencies, specialty pharmacy and infusion centers, pharmaceutical  vendors, nursing facilities, and health information and management  providers. His regulatory practice also encompasses a substantial  transactional element that includes mergers and acquisitions (M&A)  due diligence and structuring, M&A regulatory counsel, licensing and  the creation of healthcare-related ventures.

"His  experience with M&A transactions will be especially valuable to our  deal teams, which are seeing unprecedented levels of transactions,  especially in the healthcare industry. Ken also has experience in  handling complex Medicare provider reimbursement appeals, which adds to  our existing capabilities in this area."
