Tom Lombardi, a member of Cozen O’Connor’s Commercial Litigation Department, served as co-chair of the 2021 Crocker Commercial Real Estate Symposium for his third consecutive year. Lombardi had brought the California Lawyers Association and the Los Angeles County Bar Association into partnership for Crocker in 2019. Lombardi and his LACBA counterpart led the activity of the planning committee through the year until the event was held on September 9, 2021. In his opening remarks at the symposium, Lombardi showcased the successful three-year partnership between the California Lawyers Association and the LA County Bar and their mission to promote diversity and access in the real property law through their co-sponsoring affinity bar program for the event.
This symposium, held on September 9, 2021, featured three panels comprising prominent California attorneys and industry insiders, who discussed selected trends and developments in commercial real estate that affect practitioners and will impact the future of commercial real estate. Some of the co-sponsoring affinity bars included the Asian Pacific Bar American Bar Association, Black Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles, the Mexican American Bar Association and the Japanese American Bar Association. Cozen O’Connor was a 2021 sponsor of this event.
