Am Law 100 firm Polsinelli welcomes new electrical engineering and computer science patent attorney Joseph (“Joe”) M. Teleoglou as Counsel in the firm’s Los Angeles office. Teleoglou joins the firm’s national Electrical Engineering & Computer Science Patent Prosecution Practice within the Intellectual Property Department.
Teleoglou prepares and prosecutes U.S. and foreign patent applications in a variety of industries, including aerospace, telecommunications, software (including artificial intelligence), and automobile systems. He also provides legal opinions regarding patentability and infringement of intellectual property, litigates intellectual property disputes, prepares and prosecutes trademark applications, and negotiates and drafts license agreements.

Prior to joining Polsinelli, Teleoglou worked as an engineer designing hardware and firmware for satellite and land-based communication systems, as well as developing technology solutions for multiple electronic device platforms. He also has startup and business ownership experience having operated a small technology transfer company.
Teleoglou is registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Teleoglou earned a B.S. from North Carolina State University in Electrical Engineering before obtaining his J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law.
