FRESNO - A former student accused a Clovis Unified School District instructor of sexual misconduct in a March 25 Fresno County Superior Court complaint.

The plaintiff, identified only as Molly M., was a student of Hmong language instructor Kenneth Kong Lee, who allegedly presented himself as a friendly teacher who was available to listen to students' personal problems.

Molly says that, when she would discuss problems with Lee, he would hug her and move his hands to her buttocks or grope her breasts. After she reported the incidents to the administration, Lee was investigated and charged with sex crimes, the suit says.

The school district, Superintendent Corrine Folmer, Principal Kevin Kerney and Lee are accused of negligent hiring, supervision and retention, sexual abuse of a minor, intentional infliction of emotional distress, sexual battery and assault.

Molly is represented by the Law Offices of Markus A. Agbulos.
