LITTLER MENDELSON P.C.: Littler Appoints New Practice and Industry Group Chairs

Littler, the world’s largest employment and labor law practice representing management, has announced a number of leadership changes throughout its various practice and industry groups.

“We congratulate this talented and diverse group of co-chairs,” said Tom Bender and Jeremy Roth, Littler co-managing directors, in a joint statement. “Their deep knowledge and extensive experience in their respective practice areas will continue to enhance the firm’s ability to advise and defend clients on myriad employment and labor law matters across all industries.”

  • Appellate Practice Group: Richard Rahm (San Francisco) joins co-chair Courtney Wilson (Miami). This practice group works with clients through all stages of a case – identifying potential appellate issues and assessing the best methods for addressing these issues in the trial court, while properly positioning the case for further appellate review.
  • Class Actions Practice Group: Richard Black (Atlanta) and Carlos Jimenez (Los Angeles) join co-chair Keith Jacoby (Los Angeles). This practice group is highly experienced in employment class actions, defending clients in hundreds of wage and hour, discrimination and other workplace-related disputes.
  • Compliance Audit Services Practice Group: Jill Lowell (Rochester) joins co-chair Whitney Ferrer (Atlanta). This practice group is a trailblazer for thoughtful, efficient and cost-effective audits on the full spectrum of wage and hour and human resources issues.
  • Litigation and Trials Practice Group: Tanja Darrow (Los Angeles) and Jeffrey Hanslick (Kansas City) will serve as co-chairs. This practice group has decades of experience representing clients at every phase of employment litigation with creative, trial-tested strategies and approaches so that cases can be tried or resolved from a position of strength.
  • Retail Industry Group: Amy Todd-Gher (San Diego) joins co-chair Kate Mrkonich Wilson (Minneapolis). Leveraging the deep knowledge and the wealth of experience gained from representing the full range of local to international retailers, this industry group provides practical and effective solutions to the complex workplace problems that retailers most commonly face.
  • Unfair Competition and Trade Secrets Practice Group: Melissa McDonagh (Boston) joins co-chair James Witz (Chicago). This practice group has a keen understanding of both the legal and business needs to respond quickly and effectively to situations involving intellectual capital and customer relationships.
