This complimentary series of engaging and informative courses will address the most significant issues on which employers should focus with respect to the maintenance and governance of employee benefit plans and how COVID-19 affects workplace benefits.
This program will examine what plan fiduciaries must do to properly hire and monitor plan service providers and fiduciaries. We will examine the contractual pitfalls to ensure the plan is protected in entering into service provider contracts for both welfare and retirement plans. Special attention will be placed in understanding how to hire an investment advisor and the distinctions between 3(21) investment advisors and 3(38) investment managers.
