Fox Rothschild LLP welcomes Joshua A. Edwards in Los Angeles as counsel in the Entertainment & Sports Law Department.

A former talent representative, Edwards has significant experience at the negotiation table, complemented by a macro-level understanding of the film and television industry and in-depth knowledge of the deal terms available to above-the-line talent, producers and production companies.
Edwards’ multifaceted experience enables highly effective negotiations and sophisticated dealmaking. He has represented leading talent, recurring guest stars and series regulars on noteworthy projects such as FX’s “Snowfall,” CBS’s “Red Line,” BET’s “The Oval,” DC Universe’s “Swamp Thing,” Showtime’s “Ray Donovan” and “Escape at Dannemora,” FOX’s “Bones,” The CW’s “Reign,” Fox Searchlight’s “Birth of a Nation,” HBO’s “Eastbound & Down” and Netflix’s “Bloodline,” among others.
He earned his J.D. from the City University of New York, his M.B.A. from Loyola Marymount University and his B.A., magna cum laude, from Clark Atlanta University.
Prior to joining Fox, Edwards was a partner and head of the Talent & Production Legal Department at Pierce Law Group.
