The Orange County Coalition for Diversity in the Law (OCDDL) selected Sheppard Mullin for its “Top Legal Organizations for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Award.” The firm was recognized for advancing DEI in the Orange County legal community in the past year.
One of the many ways Sheppard Mullin advances DEI is through its internal affinity groups, including the firmwide Diversity & Inclusion Attorney Network for attorneys of color. In addition to monthly meetings, these groups also host client receptions and annual retreats.
Founded in 2004, OCCDL is committed to increasing diversity and inclusion in the Orange County legal community. Its efforts start with local law school students and continue through the promotions of member practitioners.
