Angela Bevilacqua has filed a lawsuit against Zarrinnaz N. Zarrinpour and Touraj Hedayat Asadi in the Superior Court of California, Ventura County. The case ID is 2023CUPP012243, and it was filed on August 3, 2023. The complaint alleges damages based on strict liability and negligence related to a dog attack.

Represented by attorneys Chad M. Prentice and Jessica L. Phillips from Maho & Prentice, LLP, Bevilacqua claims that the defendants owned or controlled a dog that attacked her at Oaknoll Condominium, Thousand Oaks, CA. The incident allegedly occurred on October 1, 2021.

She asserts that she was on the property when the unleashed and uncontrolled dog attacked her causing severe injuries. The plaintiff alleges that the dog was of a dangerous breed and size with vicious propensities known to the defendants and the owners of the dog had a duty to keep the animal supervised and controlled at all times.

Bevilacqua seeks judgment for general damages for mental, physical, and nervous pain and suffering resulting from the attack. She also claims medical expenses, loss of earnings, property damage, and related expenses incurred due to the incident. The exact amount will be determined according to proof presented during the trial.
