A class action lawsuit has been filed against CG Roxane LLC, the makers of Crystal Geyser bottled water. The plaintiff, Michael Dotson, accuses the company of selling water contaminated with microplastics.

The lawsuit was initially filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court in February, but was later moved to L.A. federal court on March 28.

The case alleges that consumers were unknowingly purchasing and consuming water containing harmful microplastics, even though the product was allegedly marketed as natural spring water.

The plaintiffs are seeking unspecified actual damages and punitive damages, plus attorney fees.

They are represented by attorneys Todd Friedman and Adrian Bacon, of the Law Offices of Todd M. Friedman P.C,, of Woodland Hills.
