All Web Leads, a Texas-based online marketing service provider, has been hit with a class action lawsuit accusing the company of violating federal telecommunications laws.

The plaintiffs, Valerie Brumfield and Juanita Williams, allege that All Web Leads placed automated marketing calls with prerecorded voices discussing Medicare benefits without their consent. The lawsuit was filed in Los Angeles federal court by attorney Ryan L. McBride of the Kazerouni Law Group APC, of San Diego.

The plaintiffs are seeking injunctive relief to halt the defendant's alleged illegal conduct which they claim has resulted in invasion of privacy, harassment, aggravation, and disruption of daily life for thousands of people.

They are also seeking statutory damages on behalf of themselves and members of the class action suit.

The plaintiffs are seeking damages of up to $1,500 for each alleged knowing and willful call allegedly placed in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), potentially exceeding $5 million when multiplied across a proposed class numbering in tens of thousands or more.
