Tressler is delighted to welcome Annie Barberian as an associate in our General Defense Litigation Practice Group in Los Angeles, California. Annie provides defense in disputes involving a wide range of policies, including professional liability coverage, aviation litigation and landlord-tenant litigation.
During the first year of her legal studies, Annie worked as a law clerk for the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office. While at Loyola, Annie participated in the Workers' Rights Clinic, which provided community-based legal services for low-income workers. During her second year of law school, Annie was a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge Klausner. Prior to joining Tressler, Annie clerked for a firm, assisting with litigation matters in various practice areas, including employment, real estate, contracts and business law.
Annie received her B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley where she was a recipient of the Cal Alumni Leadership Award. She received her J.D. from Loyola Law School where Annie served as the Production Editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles Entertainment Law Review. While in law school, Annie was a 2L mentor in the Women's Law Association and a member of the Armenian Student's Association.
