Thompson Coburn partner Luke Sosnicki authored an article in Bloomberg Law that considers court challenges to website tracking tools, and the need to update the laws supporting these challenges.
“The lawsuits are typically brought under common law invasion of privacy theories and federal and state laws prohibiting wiretapping and eavesdropping,” wrote Luke. “They have contributed to an important dialogue about what categories of information consumers can reasonably expect not to be shared.”
