General Motors, LLC on Dec. 8: 'Granting Plaintiffs' Motion To Compel The Deposition Of Defendant Motion To Compel Further Responses To Plaintiffs' Special Interrogatories And Motion To Compel Further Responses To Plaintiffs' Request For Production Of Documents After Hearing All The Arguments Of Counsel, And Considering The Papers Submitted In Support Of And In Opposition To The Motion, And Good Cause Appearing, The Court Made The Following Rulings: 1. Plaintiffs' Motion To Compel The Deposition Of Defendant Is Granted. Defendant General Motors, Llc Is To Provide Its Person Most Qualified For A Deposition To Take Place Within Sixty (60) Days Of The Date Of This Ruling. This Ruling Is Without Prejudice To A Motion To Compel Responses And Production Of Documents If And When The Issue Is Ripe After The Deposition Has Begun. 2. Plaintiffs' Motion To Compel Further Responses To Plaintiffs' First Set Of Special Interrogatories Is Granted. As To Numbers 20-21, The Parties Are To Meet And Confer As To When Defendant Will Serve Verified Responses. Defendant Must Serve A Verified Response Stating It Will Respond As Opposed To Reserving The Right To Do So. As To Numbers 39-40, Defendant Must Serve Verified Responses Stating That It Will Respond (as Opposed To Stating That It Reserves The Right To Do So). 3. Plaintiffs' Motion To Compel Further Responses To Plaintiffs' First Request For Production Of Documents Is Granted. Defendant Must Serve Verified Responses To The Requests At Issue With Non-Privileged Documents Covering The Year Of Purchase Forward. Defendant Must Also Provide A Privilege Log With Its Further Responses. 4. As To The Further Responses To Both Sets Of Discovery At Issue, Defendant Must Serve Its Further Verified Responses Within 30 Days Following Plaintiffs' Service Of Notice Of This Ruling. 5. Plaintiffs' Request For Sanctions Is Denied Without Prejudice.'.
