A male teen has filed suit against the Los Angeles Dodgers, LAPD and others, claiming he were allegedly wrongly roughed up by stadium security at Dodgers Stadium during a game in 2022, and LAPD did nothing to stop it.

During a game against the Cincinnati Reds, the plaintiff, a minor identified only as M.G.E. Jr. was allegedly approaching the snack bar when he "heard a loud commotion to the left," the suit says. "When he looked that way he noticed that it was his father being harassed by [Los Angeles Dodgers] security. Plaintiff walked towards them, and, noticing that the security guard was being very aggressive, protested and stated that they should let his father go."

The security guards then allegedly  "turned around and started to be aggressive with Plaintiff," the suit states. "They then grabbed Plaintiff and picked him up and embraced him in a bear hug and started jerking him around to the point where he heard his lower back crack."

The plaintiff's mother allegedly told the guards that her son was only 16, the suit states. "They decided to let Plaintiff go," the lawsuit says. "Then they
escorted Plaintiff out of the stadium and ejected him from the baseball game."

The lawsuit was filed in Los Angeles federal court on behalf of MGE by his guardian, identified as Valerie Esparza.

The suit seeks general, special, compensatory and punitive damages, plus legal fees.

The plaintiff is represented by attorney Jeff Dominic Price, of JDP PC, of Santa Monica.
