Mia Farber Named a Leader of Influence by Los Angeles Business Journal

Nationwide employment law firm Jackson Lewis P.C. is pleased to announce Mia Farber has been recognized on the Los Angeles Business Journal’s 2022 Leaders of Influence: Labor & Employment Attorneys list. The list is comprised of attorneys who have demonstrated a significant impact made on the legal profession and on the Los Angeles community.

“Mia is a talented employment attorney who is continuing to make an impact on the legal profession, as well as the Los Angeles business community,” said Nicky Jatana, Los Angeles office managing principal. “On behalf of the firm, we applaud her on this well-deserved recognition.”

Mia is a principal in the firm’s Los Angeles office and is a former member of its Board of Directors. She is co-leader of the firm’s Class Actions and Complex Litigation group and has extensive experience in all facets of employment litigation. Mia represents businesses in all types of employment litigation, including sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination. She also has vast experience in wage and hour class actions, defending a significant number of related matters over the last several years. Additionally, Mia provides advice and counsel, conducts training seminars on a myriad of topics all related to employment issues and frequently speaks on employment law issues.

Mia is an experienced trial attorney and has tried numerous cases. She has extensive experience arbitrating employment disputes pursuant to employment arbitration agreements and collective bargaining agreements as well as defending employers in judicial arbitrations. Mia also regularly handles both judicial and private employment dispute mediations on behalf of employers.

Mia earned her J.D. from the Los Angeles Loyola Law School and her B.A. from Pitzer College.
