The social media interview between a pastor and a former Temecula Valley High School worker alleging that students organized a sex room at a Temecula high school contained false statements, according to a Temecula Valley Unified School District official.

“It appears to us this video is part of an ongoing design to criticize the District, the hard work and dedication of its staff, and the many accomplishments of its students based on unfounded claims and allegations,” said Jodi McClay, superintendent of the Temecula Valley Unified School District. "We were deeply disappointed in Mr. Thompson’s and Mr. Druhe’s video. We closely watched and analyzed the video and identified several misleading and patently false statements in that video."

McClay was responding to a YouTube video in which Kevin Druhe, who says he is a retired Temecula Valley Unified School District assistant principal, told 412 Church Pastor Tim Thompson that a changing room for the drama team on Temecula Valley High School's campus was used for sexual purposes and was facilitated by a female student.

“There has never been a “sex room” or similar location at Temecula Valley High School or any of the district’s schools,” McClay told the Southern California Record. “Further, staff have never condoned an environment on the Temecula Valley High School Campus, or any District campus, where students are permitted to have sex.”

Druhe claims in the YouTube video to be a retired Temecula Valley Unified School District assistant principal, however McClay said that Druhe was never an administrator.

“Although Mr. Druhe served as a teacher on special assignment during one school year (2016-2017), he never served as an assistant principal,” McClay said. “We have been unable to locate any report of a “sex room” or other similar environment submitted to the District by Mr. Druhe or any other staff member. If true, we would certainly expect such a report to exist, which would result in swift District action and may involve Child Protective Services and law enforcement.”

Druhe also alleges that teen girls are allowed to walk around nude in the boys’ locker room in front of male staff and students.

“The District adheres to California Education Code Section 221.5, and the many other non-discrimination provisions contained in the Education Code, in its locker rooms and other facilities,” McClay added. “Simply put, this characterization improperly describes student access and activities in locker rooms and has not proven to be a concern in our schools, including Temecula Valley High School.”

McClay further stated in an email that the District implements appropriate responses to any student misconduct and addresses that conduct through several mechanisms, including disciplinary actions and student support mechanisms. "In addition, staff are expected and required by law to report improper student behavior to administration and, in some instances, law enforcement," she said.
