The Daily Journal named Jordan one of the “Top Women Lawyers” in California for 2022. Jordan is profiled for successfully leading “high-recovery insurance litigation involving large construction projects, major natural disasters, financial services problems and a mass tort case.”
Additionally, the Los Angeles Business Journal named Ashley one of the region’s “Top 100 Lawyers” for 2022. In the following profile, Ashley is highlighted for her insurance recovery work and handling of two parallel, high-stakes lawsuits on behalf of high-profile Kuwait client PVT Limited.
“My practice has been extremely busy, and it’s only poised for exponential growth in the coming years,” Jordan told the Daily Journal, citing such factors as climate change and other issues related to environmental, social, and governance (ESG), as well as cybersecurity attacks and the ever-increasing cost of construction.
The Daily Journal also highlighted Jordan for her work on multibillion dollar claims in the wake of major hurricanes, including from 2017 storms Maria and Irma in Puerto Rico. As the Journal noted, “She helped secure a landmark ruling from the Puerto Rico Supreme Court that allows post-loss claims to be assigned despite anti-assignment provisions in the policies.”
Jordan was also highlighted for her work on behalf of top restaurant chains and other clients, such as the Simon Wiesenthal Center, in pursuing coverage for COVID-19-related business losses.
