Improving Institutional Responses to Sexual Abuse Allegations: Lessons Learned from Recent Events on April 14, 2022

Law2

Date: April 14, 2022

Shocking allegations of sexual abuse have repeatedly made headlines over the last few years. This webinar will examine recent matters involving serial sexual abuse, discuss the failures of institutional responses, and identify some common themes. It will also address how we can learn from past errors made by institutions in response to sexual abuse allegations and restore confidence by creating and communicating a meaningful response plan.

Ballard Spahr partner, Jill Steinberg, will lead the conversation. Jill has over fifteen years of experience as a state and federal prosecutor handling white collar and violent crime matters, including in particular sexual abuse cases, and served as Associate Deputy Attorney General and the most senior Justice Department official on child exploitation and human trafficking issues.

This program is approved for 1.0 CA, NV, NY & PA; and 1.2 CLE credit. 1.0 HRCI & SHRM Credits are pending. Uniform Certificates of Attendance will also be provided for the purpose of seeking credit in other jurisdictions.

Please register at least two days before the webinar. Login details will be sent to all approved registrants. For more information, contact questions@ballardspahr.com.
