Ginger Pigott, Brent Sokol, and Miki Kolton to Speak at Fogarty Innovation

Greenberg Traurig attorneys Ginger Pigott, Brent D. Sokol, and Eleanor “Miki” A. Kolton will present “Key Legal Considerations in MedTech Product Innovation” to early stage medical technology companies at Fogarty Innovation on Oct. 28, 2021 at 2 p.m. PDT.

Fogarty Innovation is a nonprofit educational incubator and accelerator for early stage medical technology companies and “global hub for novel thinking and creation.” Its mission is to create “a bold model for shaping the future of human health, guided by a focused, comprehensive vision.” Founded in 2012 by the renowned surgeon and inventor, Dr. Thomas Fogarty, dozens of companies have gone through the program and several have subsequently been acquired or planned IPOs. The presentation, which is co-sponsored by Greenberg Traurig, will discuss the path from ideation to the product market and the various regulatory, intellectual property, risk mitigation, and other hurdles along the way. As senior attorneys with decades of practice expertise, Pigott, Kolton, and Sokol have first-hand legal experience advising early stage and established companies who are working to advance new and innovative medical solutions and technologies.
