Amy Alderfer Receives the University of Southern California Widney Alumni House Volunteer Award

Cozen O’Connor is pleased to announce that Amy Alderfer, member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Department, has received the USC Widney Alumni House Volunteer award. A 1999 graduate of  USC Gould School of Law, Alderfer serves as both president and executive committee member of the USC Gould Alumni Association and as a representative member of the USC Board of Governors. Every year the USC Alumni Association recognizes the outstanding contributions of volunteers who have devoted their time and energy in service to the university. 

Alderfer advises clients on all aspects of litigation, from pretrial matters through trial and appeal. She has tried numerous cases to verdict and successfully argued before the California Court of Appeal. Alderfer’ s practice encompasses securities, commercial lease, real estate and land use, product liability, false advertising, consumer protection, pharmaceutical and medical device, dietary supplements, cannabis, and California Proposition 65 compliance and litigation, as well as commercial arbitration. She also handles multidistrict litigation and California coordinated proceedings. In 2020 Alderfer was named to the Los Angeles Business Journal’s Thriving in Their 40s list.
