Ballard Spahr LLP issued the following announcement on July 6.
Tracy Rane—a litigator with two decades of experience providing counsel to clients through all stages of a trial—has joined Ballard Spahr’s Los Angeles office, firm Chair Mark Stewart announced.
Ms. Rane has particular experience with trial strategy and settlement negotiation and has an extensive track record handling all aspects of litigation in both federal and state courts, including the California Courts of Appeal and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Her matters involve copyright infringement; trademark infringement; defamation, right of publicity, and right of privacy; breach of contract; and general civil litigation.
Ms. Rane is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department and Media and Entertainment Law Group. She will build on her base of media and entertainment clients by providing counsel on a broader scale of trial-focused matters.
“Ballard Spahr’s litigation capabilities are a superb fit for my practice,” Ms. Rane said. “The resources of a national firm and deep Los Angeles connections will help me provide my clients with even better service.”
