Greenberg Traurig issued the following announcement on May 24.

Chambers and Partners recognized four California practice groups of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP in the Chambers USA 2021 Guide. The areas listed include: Corporate/M&A: Private Equity: Highly Regarded, Labor and Employment, Real Estate, and Tax.

According to its website, Chambers and Partners, a UK-based publisher, selects attorneys and practice areas for inclusion based on thousands of interviews with practicing lawyers and clients around the world.

“We are thrilled that Chambers USA has recognized the depth and breadth of Greenberg Traurig’s outstanding California Corporate Practice and attorneys,” said Global Corporate Practice Co-Chair Mark J. Kelson. “We will continue to serve our clients at the highest level; to provide them with the wide range of outstanding services that they have come to expect; and to assist all of our clients in achieving their business objectives.”

Feedback included in the listings highlighted the firm’s commitment to their clients. Comments included “Greenberg Traurig is a large firm but provides attention that is more representative of a small boutique firm. The lawyers are very personable and responsive." Another client added that GT attorneys are “true subject matter experts advising on each matter that arises.”

San Francisco office Co-managing Shareholder and Tax Practice Shareholder G. Michelle Ferreira said, “Greenberg Traurig’s California Tax team is proud to be listed among an elite list of our colleagues. Our diverse practice continues to be ever more relevant in the changing landscape of California tax law.”

Firmwide, more than 180 attorneys were recognized in the 2021 Guide, marking a 20% increase over last year. The firm is recognized in more than 40 of the guide’s practice areas across 19 regions.
