Fresno cafe caught in personal injury suit after woman allegedly falls, cuts her head

FRESNO - A personal injury civil lawsuit was filed on Jan. 7 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Yosemite Falls Cafe, Inc.

Acelia Mora says that she was visiting the Yosemite Falls Cafe on Cedar Avenue in Fresno to have lunch with a friend in January 2019. Upon exiting the restaurant, Mora sustained a fall caused by conditions not described in the complaint. She allegedly suffered injuries that included a laceration to her head. 

Mora is suing Yosemite Falls Cafe for negligence in maintaining the premises and identifying/fixing dangerous situations. 

The cafe is charged with one count of negligence, one count of willful failure to warn and one count of dangerous condition of public property.

The plaintiff is represented by Davis and Van Wagenen of Fresno. She is seeking compensatory damages after suffering hospital and medical expenses and general damage.
