Fox Rothschild recently issued the following announcement.

When:September 10, 2020

People:Odia Kagan

Hosted By:Infragard and Fox Rothschild

Location: Webinar

12 - 1 pm ET

Details:

The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) is the first comprehensive data protection law enacted in the U.S. It became enforceable on July 1, 2020 and on that very day the California Attorney General already issued notifications of non-enforcement to a multitude of companies. Applying to broadly defined “personal information,” CCPA borrows and adapts many concepts from GDPR, including expanded transparency requirements and rights of individuals to access and delete their information. With the recently submitted final regulations, companies have their compliance work cut out for them.

In this webinar Odia Kagan, Partner and Chair of GDPR Compliance & International Privacy at Fox Rothschild LLP, will discuss what CCPA means for companies and approach your compliance plan. Topics include:

  • What do the final regulations mean for compliance?
  • What insight did the AG give into its worldview and enforcement priorities?; and
  • What should organizations focus on right now?
